  • Served as project manager on business continuity/continuity of operations and IT disaster recovery (ITDR) planning engagements with key critical infrastructure clients such as Berkshire Hathaway Energy, Eastern Generation, Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), the Las Vegas Valley Water District, and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA).

  • Conducted risk analyses in ERM engagements with financial services clients such as NFP Insurance and the Amynta Group.

Nick has nearly 10 years of experience in business continuity planning, enterprise risk management (ERM), operational resilience, and corporate security. He has worked with multiple private and public-sector clients, including Berkshire Hathaway Energy, Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), and the Las Vegas Valley Water District.

Nicolas' professional experience includes:

  • Serving as project manager for the establishment of a crisis management program for Berkshire Hathaway Energy (BHE), driving the development of business continuity and IT disaster recovery (ITDR) plans covering over 16,000 employees across 10 BHE affiliate companies in the U.S. and Canada.

  • Conducting business impact analysis interviews in both English and Spanish, leading the development of a web-based ERM and incident management tool, and supporting data collection and analysis efforts in support of the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority's (PREPA) BCP and ERM program development.

  • Leading and facilitating numerous tabletop exercises in the context of BCP, IT Disaster Recovery, and travel risk management engagements with clients in a wide variety of sectors, including transportation, higher education, government, financial services.

Nick holds a MA degree in international relations from New York University, a BA in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certification from DRI International. He is also a native French speaker and is fluent in Spanish.
