Julian Samuel has over 17 years of experience with nationally recognized financial advisory firms executing fairness opinions, solvency opinions and valuation consulting engagements to assist boards and and management teams. He has executed hundreds of opinions to support board-level decisions and provide independent, objective financial analysis to key decision makers.
Areas of focus:
- Fairness opinions for mergers, acquisitions, and going-private transactions
- Solvency opinions for spin-offs, dividends, recapitalizations, and leveraged transactions
- Opinions and valuations for capital raises and advisor-led secondaries
- Financial modeling and analysis including development and evaluation of financial forecast models
Prior to GA Group, Mr. Samuel was a senior
vice president in Houlihan Lokey's Transaction Opinions and Board Advisory
Services practices. He was previously an experienced manager in the transaction
opinions practice of Grant Thornton and held positions at Alvarez & Marsal
and Duff & Phelps. He received his BS in finance and accounting from Saint
Joseph's University.
